Stephen Quiller is
an internationally known artist. He travels frequently to instruct
workshops on his approach to color, watermedia, and on-location
painting. However, he spends most of his time painting on location
or at his studio in Creede, Colorado - here he paints beaver ponds,
snow shadows, water reflections and mountain patterns, wild iris
and aspen, reaching deeper to capture the essence of the rhythm
and spirit of the San Juans.
Stephen has authored five books on painting and has had twelve videos
produced. He has recieved many awards, including the Walter Greathouse
Award and metal at the 133rd and 130th American Watercolor Society
Exhibitions in New York City. He has recieved acclaim for his work
and is a signature member of the American Watercolor Society, Rocky
Mountain National Watermedia, and Society for Painters in Casein
and Acrylic, among others.
